Kick off the Holidays with a visit to the Christmas site
P.R. Native Hosts NW Fishing Site

Andrew Carnegie, while the richest man of his time, considered it his duty to share his wealth with the community.
The way he chose to share was through the building of libraries to feed the human mind and soul. He was often referred to as the ‘Patron Saint of Libraries’, and donated $40 Million for the construction of 1679 public library buildings in the United States.Sadly, it appeared that the public didn't share his love of books nor his thirst for knowledge, for too often, his libaries were under used.
But that can't be said for Priest River's Public Library - more properly known as the West Bonner Library District.
I have yet to visit there without finding it a busy hub of activity. Of course there are people checking out books and videos, but there's so much more!

For Halloween, the library hosted a pumpkin carving contest for kids - and the entries were amazing.
Reading programs are ongoing, with adult groups meeting to discuss books they've shared, and programs for kids as well.
Thursday mornings at 11:00 find the little ones gathered for Story Time, while the older kids meet for Tale Twisters at 3 PM.
The internet also plays a role - with computers set up for public use, and wifi for patrons who bring their laptops.

A gentleman named Steve Manning has developed a fool-proof method to get those words out of your head and on to paper.
And if you follow his instructions, you can do it in 14 days - just working in the evening.
